Monday December 22, 2014 - Yatta Member of Parliament, Francis Mwangangi, has broken ranks with his CORD colleagues and thanked Uhuru/ Ruto’s Jubilee for passing the security laws.
Speaking in his constituency, Mwangangi revealed the genesis of everything that transpired in the National Assembly on Thursday saying it was well chareographed.
The Wiper legislator betrayed his bosses and the coalition saying CORD planned to disrupt the session to ensure Uhuru/ Ruto’s tyranny of numbers failed to pass the security laws.
Mwangangi noted that they had a meeting on Wednesday under the stewardship of Kiminini MP, Chris Wamalwa, and discussed everything about the Thursday session but they never contemplated causing mayhem and chaos.
However, after the meeting, ODM and Ford Kenya MPs went to a secret meeting with their leaders and from their, they organized and planned to make the Thursday’s session a living hell for Jubilee without involving Wiper.
“CORD had no agenda on Thursday, their only agenda was to disrupt the session to ensure Jubilee fails and they planned all that at a secret location on Thursday evening after another meeting which I attended during the day,” revealed Mwangangi.
This explains why Wiper was very passive as the Bill was hurriedly passed by Jubilee with MPs on their feet.
